My name is Maria Manuela Xavier Porto, I'm from Rio de Janeiro, a creator, collector of images, music, feelings, texts and small details.

 

Maizon was born from a deep and long-held desire: to transform feelings into pages, memories into aesthetics, and routine into glamour. The idea of creating a magazine arose from the desire to create a space where femininity could be seen in its depths: not as a label, but as a language.

 

It's made up of fragments of my experiences, the things I love, and what moves me. But above all, it's an invitation for other women to see themselves there: in a photo, a color, a phrase scattered across the page.

 

The name comes from the French "Maison," meaning "house," a word that, in fashion history, represents the great design houses, then called " couture houses," where style comes to life as art. By swapping the " S" for a "Z ," Maizon is born: with personality, authenticity, and its own dialect.

A way to create my own space in the world, without giving up my references and my essence.

 

More than a publication, Maizon Magazine is an emotional and artisanal project. Each volume will be conceived as an aesthetic work that encompasses fashion, art, culture, fashion , and emotions. Here, the design reflects personality, the color palette resonates with summer, and the words were carefully chosen, like someone writing a letter.

My goal is simple, yet profound: to create beauty with meaning, sensitivity with purpose.
